With just a couple of days to go for the wedding of the year, the families of both Suriya and Jyothika are gearing up for the grand occasion.

Happy with the big opening for their recent release Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, Suriya and Jyothika would tie the wedding knot in Chennai on 11 September.

One of the much-awaited wedding of the year, it is expected to attract over 1000 guests including Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi.

The wedding followed by a grand reception would be held at a prominent hotel in Chennai city with who's who of the film fraternity taking part.

Meanwhile, Suriya fever seems to be spreading all across the State and congratulatory wishes seem to be pouring in.

Yesterday, Suriya appeared on a live TV show and young girls were the most prominent to call him. And almost all of them wished him and Jyothika on their marriage.

There is a groundswell of goodwill for the duo and the general description is a ‘made for each other pair’.
