As his father, actor Sivakumar completes 50 years in the Tamil Film industry today, actor Suriya has expressed happiness and pride in his official Twitter page.

The Masssu` actor who recently entered the Twitter space has said that he has learnt many lessons from his father`s life,experiences, laughters and heartening stories. He has also said that what he and his brother, actor Karthi have to do was just referring to their father`s life as an actor and as a human being and live as close as possible to that.

Suriya has ended it with an emotional note saying that he was proud to say that Sivakumar was his father.
