After directing a remake like 'Dhruva', Surender Reddy wasn't prepared to take up the mantle of wielding the megaphone for the biopic of a freedom fighter, that too with Chiranjeevi as the hero.

Having been at it for more than a few months, the star director says that he is a changed man now. Doing research on the real-life character and working with a top-notch team, including Megastar, has affected his tastes, interests and habits for the better. And Reddy is in total awe of Chiru's mind-blowing dedication.

Reportedly, ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ will be shot in Georgia and Russia in the coming weeks. The magnum opus will have some crucial battle episodes shot in locations across these two countries. It's learned that Chiru will leave for Russia later this month. Vijay Sethupathi, Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara and Tamannah are part of the cast.
