'Sye Raa', which released in North America on Tuesday, garnered very good amounts via premiers. As per the latest data, USD 857,765 (Rs 6.16 cr) was raised by the magnum opus from 308 locations in the crucial Overseas market.

While the gross figure is big in absolute terms, it is perhaps not-so-great when the costs and the hype around the Chiranjeevi flick are taken into consideration. "This figure is less than what 'Khaidi No. 150' drew in 2017 through premieres. This is less than what Mahesh Babu's 'SPYder' and the recent 'Saaho' did," says a source.

Directed by Surender Reddy and starring also Jagapathi Babu, Tamannaah, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and others, the film is produced by Ram Charan.
