Vijay Sethupathy will be seen as Jithu in Rajinikanth's 'Petta'. He is playing the film's deadly guy in this Karthik Subbaraj-directed behemoth.

In the First Look poster released today, Sethupathy is seen brandishing a weapon with a mischievous expression his face. The '2.0' actor, who is playing Kaali in the movie, is seen in the background. There are high expectations from the villain's role in this Pongal release. The Telugu version is yet to get a title and a release date.

As is known, Sethupathy is playing a key supporting role in 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'. He was recently seen in Mani Ratnam's 'Chekka Chivvantham Vaanam' ('Nawab') and his romantic drama with Trisha, '96', is a critically acclaimed hit.
