The T20I World Cup 2020 fixtures released

The T20I World Cup 2020 fixtures has been released and India is grouped with England, South Africa, Afghanistan and a qualifying team from the other teams that will be playing a qualifying round.  The grand event of the shorter format of cricket will be held across seven cities in Australia from October 18th to November 15th 2020.

The defending champions and two-time cup winner West Indies is grouped with Australia, Pakistan and New Zealand who will again be joined by another qualifying team.  Sri Lanka will be facing off against Papua New Guinea, Ireland and Oman in Group A while Bangladesh will be up against Netherlands, Namibia and Scotland in Group B.  The first main match will see hosts Australia locking horns with Pakistan at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday 24 October 2020.
