With several brands bringing out beauty soaps, the old companies either closing their shops or re-launching their products with new packaging and with new marketing techniques.
Earlier, there was a soap called Chandrika Ayurvedic Soap, which was quite famous in the yesteryears. However, the product, manufactured by Wipro, failed to cope-up with the competition and almost closed its shop.
Now, the company is planning to make use of aggressive marketing techniques. Tamanna, who had bagged big hits like '100% Love and became a household name among family audiences was approached to endorse the soap.
