Udhayanidhi Stalin is a prolific actor, producer, minister and the son of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. 'Maamannan' is said to be Udhay's last film as an actor as he is busy governing the state. Directed by the highly acclaimed maker Mari Selvaraj, the ambitious film hits the big screens today worldwide.

Like Mari Selvaraj's previous works, Maamannan is touted to be an intense political drama against oppression. Now, the hot news is that CM MK Stalin watched the film in a special screening arranged by the makers. Mari Selvaraj took to social media and shared a few clicks with the Chief Minister and wrote about his reaction to Maamannan.

Mari Selvaraj captioned that the Hon'ble Chief Minister MK Stalin hugged and celebrated him after watching Maamannan and he offered his gratitude and love to the respected politician. The movie also stars Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh with music scored by AR Rahman, cinematography by Theni Eswar and editing by Selva RK.

It is worth mentioning that renowned actors Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Dhanush went on to appreciate Mari Selvaraj and his cast & crew on social media after watching Maamannan. The film is now getting a good response from the general audience and critics alike.
