PUBG is one of the most successful and highly addictive games that is popular among young adults across the globe right now, however, on the downside, the adverse effects of the game have massively impacted the youth.

In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old boy died at Karungalpalayam in the Erode district on Tuesday evening while playing the online battle royale. The deceased, identified as Sathish Kumar, was a second year textile designing student at a private polytechnic college in Kumarapalayam. His father reportedly mentioned that he would play PUBG during his free hours. The teenager was playing the game on Tuesday when he suddenly fell unconsciously. His parents immediately rushed Sathish to a government hospital, but the boy was declared brought dead by the hospital authorities. According to a report, preliminary investigation of the matter revealed that Sathish was playing PUBG throughout the day since Monday morning.

PUBG is an online battle royale game that gained traction soon after its PC and Xbox One launch and became a sensation when the game was released on iOS and Android devices.
