TDP-BJP-JSP alliance: Power Star the Sacrificing Star

The BJP has finalized its seat-sharing agreement with the Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party (JSP) for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.

As per the agreement, the BJP will contest six Lok Sabha seats, while the TDP will contest 17 seats. The Jana Sena Party will contest the remaining two Lok Sabha seats. In the Assembly polls, the BJP will contest 10 seats, the TDP will contest 144 seats, and the Jana Sena Party will contest 21 seats. These elections will be held concurrently with the Lok Sabha polls.

Chandrababu Naidu visited Delhi on March 8 and met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Pawan Kalyan, who claims to have worked hard to form these alliances and restore the relationship between the three parties, has faced criticism for the reduced number of seats allocated to the Jana Sena Party. It is rumored that one of the MP seats initially allocated to the Jana Sena Party was reduced during discussions in Delhi. The Jana Sena Party has reportedly given up the Anakapalli MP seat.

During discussions at Chandrababu's residence, it was decided that the BJP would contest 10 assembly seats, an increase from the initial six seats. This decision has led to disappointment among Jana Sena Party members, as their assembly seat allocation has been reduced from 24 to 21.

Despite these challenges, the Jana Sena Party has decided to maintain the alliance. The TDP, which is expected to benefit the most from the alliance, has reduced its seats to accommodate the BJP's demand for 10 seats. Chandrababu Naidu is rumored to be the chief ministerial candidate if the alliance wins, but there are concerns about the reduced number of seats allocated to the TDP.

Overall, while Chandrababu Naidu, Narendra Modi, and Amit Shah have remained firm in their positions, Pawan Kalyan has had to make sacrifices. It remains to be seen how these decisions will impact the election results and what benefits Pawan Kalyan will receive in return.Overall in these developments, while Chandra Babu,Modi and Amit Shah, did not budge an inch, it was left to Power Star Pawan Kalyan to become the Sacrificing Star. It has to be seen what dividends he will get in the elections and what benefits he will get after the results.
