In a piece of bad news, Covid-19 continues to be an increasing headache in Telangana. As per the latest health bulletin, released on Saturday morning, there were 1078 cases in 24 hours, including 6 deaths.

In the GHMC limits, there were 283 cases. Medchal Malkajgiri with 113 cases and Rangareddy with 104 cases are at No. 2 and No. 3 for the 24-hour period.

In the last three weeks, new caseload figure has gone up by up to five times, a report says.

Both Case Fatality Rate and Recovery Rate in Telangana are better than that of the all-India average. In total, there are 6,900 active cases in the State. The government continues to have a lion's share in the number of tests being conducted on a daily basis.
