Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA) Celebrates Grand Event with Health and ID Card Distribution

The Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA) hosted a grand event at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad, to distribute health and ID cards to journalists. The event was graced by prominent figures from the film industry, including actors Vijay Devarakonda and R. Narayana Murthy, producer Dil Raju, and Telangana Media Academy Chairman Sreenivas Reddy.

During the event, TFJA highlighted its recent initiatives, particularly its focus on providing insurance to accredited journalists. Treasurer Surendra Kumar Naidu elaborated on the fundraising efforts for the insurance fund and expressed gratitude to the film industry for their support. General Secretary YJ Rambabu addressed concerns regarding journalists who haven't received insurance and assured the association's commitment to assisting all members with health cards and insurance. He emphasized TFJA's dedication to accountability and creating a unified platform for digital media. Virahat Ali, President of Telangana State Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ), lauded TFJA's efforts and acknowledged the vital role film news plays in publications. TFJA President Lakshminarayana emphasized the association's focus on unity and support, highlighting future plans for housing plots distribution for journalists.

Srinivas Reddy, Chairman of Telangana Media Academy, delivered an impactful speech, highlighting housing as a major concern for journalists. He acknowledged the health struggles faced by many and recalled efforts made by previous governments to address these issues. He praised TFJA's initiative and assured that the current government, under Revanth Reddy's leadership, will resolve accreditation card issues and provide house sites to eligible journalists. He urged journalists to uphold ethical standards and work for the public good.

Following Reddy's speech, the event saw the launch of a diary, with the first copy presented to producer Dil Raju. Vijay Devarakonda, along with Tata AIG representatives, distributed insurance and health cards. Devarakonda stressed the importance of health and urged the government to prioritize providing land for journalists. He briefly spoke about his upcoming film, Family Star, before departing due to promotional commitments.

Dil Raju congratulated the association and lauded their efforts, emphasizing the importance of credible news reporting. R. Narayana Murthy delivered an inspiring speech, requesting Srinivas Reddy to consider providing additional support to financially struggling journalists. He praised TFJA's work and urged everyone to avoid character assassination. The event concluded with TFJA acknowledging Dil Raju's support for their insurance plan.
