Thala Ajith one of the biggest and most charismatic superstars in South Indian cinema has been one blockbuster hit after another in the past few years. Apart from his strong passion for acting Ajith also pursues other interests including bike racing, aero sports, and cooking.

In recent years Ajith has also practised and has become a professional shooter and is a VIP member of The Rifle Club in Egmore Chennai. He has won competitions held in Coimbatore and Delhi a few months back and is now aiming even higher.

Ajith has now graduated from rifles to shotguns and double barrel guns and his current practices are with the higher caliber guns.. It is said that in the next competition Ajith will be shooting with these new weopens.

On the movie front Thala is gearing up to shoot the final schedule of 'Valimai' abroad and the team is expected to fly out soon. The film directed by H. Vinod is produced by Boney Kapoor has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu, Karthikeya and Pugazh form the supporting cast.
