After his back to back hits in varied genres in 2019, the Pongal superhit Viswasam directed by Siva and Ner konda Paarvai, the remake of Pink directed by H Vinoth, Ajith is now shooting for his 60th movie Valimai.

Directed by H Vinoth again and produced by the same Boney Kapoor who bankrolled Ner konda Paarvai, Valimai is back on track after the pandemic induced lockdown and is being filmed in Hyderabad.

While it is already known that Ajith will be seen playing a police officer in Valimai, the latest buzz making the rounds is that Ajith's character has been named Eshwara Moorthy IPS, and an official confirmation on this buzz is awaited. Valimai also stars Huma Qureshi, Karthikeya and Yogi Babu.
