Kollywood is poised to witness a true box office war on January 10th as two of the biggest star vehicles Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta'  and Thala Ajith's 'Viswasam' is hitting the screens worldwide and the demand for both is at an all time high in advance bookings.

The recently released 'Viswasam' trailer had dialogues that co-incidently sounded as a direct reply to Rajini's punch dialogues in 'Petta' trailer.  Rajini would say to goons that if any of them had wife and child sentiments they should run away as he is in a murderous mood.  Netizens inferred that the line was a troll on 'Viswasam' as it is said to be a family entertainer with Nayanthara playing Ajith's wife.

In the 'Viswasam' trailer Ajith thunders to the villain that his wife's name is Niranjana and daugher Shwetha and come one on one if you dare.  The senior star's fans took it as a direct reply to Thalaivar and a online war is on even  as we speak now.

Ruben the editor of 'Viswasam' has clarified that he had the trailer ready by December 20th itself as it was planned as a Christmas release.  But due to technical glitches it had to be postponed and by that time 'Petta' trailer was unveiled and he assures that there was not enough time to cut it as a reply to that.  The top technician has asserted that if there are any resemblences in 'Petta' and 'Viswasam' it is clearly co-incidental and the team had no intentions as percieved in the media.
