Thalapathy Vijay after delivering the blockbuster hit movie 'Master' earlier this year, had devoted the better part of 2021 for his new movie 'Beast' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. He recently completed the shooting for his portions in the film which has music by Anirudh and costarring Pooja Hegde and Yogi Babu.

It is already officially announced that Vijay's next movie is 'Thalapathy 66' directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju. It is now reported that Thaman the music composer of the biggie has already recorded the first song for the film in his Chennai studio.

According to reports Vijay TV Super Singer fame husband and wife duo Senthil and Rajalakshmi have rendered the folk number. The same source adds that Thaman was impressed by Rajalakshmi's voice in the popular song "Saamy Saamy" from the upcoming 'Pushpa'. He then decided to not only make her sing the 'Thalapathy 66' song but also roped in her husband Senthil as well. However the news has not been officially confirmed by the production house.

Vijay is set to begin shooting for 'Thalapathy 66' from March, 2022 and the team is planning to release the film for Diwali 2022. Stay tuned for more exciting updates on this much anticipated project.
