While on one hand Thalapathy fans are looking forward to their icon's next 'Varisu' to hit the screens on Pongal 2023, they are also eagerly awaiting for 'Thalapathy 67' to go on floors early next month. The film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is produced by Seven Screen Studios with Anirudh scoring the music.

Meanwhile director Rathna Kumar one of the writers of 'Thalapathy 67' shared on Twitter that he got a surprise call from Vijay himself for his birthday. 'Thalapathy 67' is one of the most anticipated films not only in Tamil cinema but pan India as well. Unconfirmed reports suggest that it will be a multistarrer that will have such big names as Kamal Haasan, Nivin Pauly, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Vishal, Manzoor Ali Khan, GVM and others joining Thalapathy Vijay. We have to wait for the official announcement that will reveal all the surprises that Loki has packed in.
