Following the success of Bigil, Vijay is currently busy with the shoot of the untitled Thalapathy 64, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The makers of the movie already made announcements regarding most of the cast and crew of Thalapathy 64. It has now been informed that an important update will be announced at 7 pm today. Fans are speculating that it may be a confirmation of actress Andrea coming on board. Some of them are hoping that an announcement regarding the release date of the first look/title of the film might be made.

While Malavika Mohanan has signed up to play the female lead, Vijay Sethupathi will be essaying the villain role. 'Angamaly Diaries' star Antony Varghese and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj are also playing significant roles in the film. Produced by Xavier Britto of XB Film Creators, Thalapathy 64 will have music composed by Anirudh.
