Bala, Vishal, Sivakarthikeyan & Uday divide 880

This Pongal, there is a variety treat at the box office with Bala`s Tharai Thappattai` starring Sasikumar and Varalakshmi with folk dance as its backdrop, two action thrillers Kathakali` starring Vishal and Catherine Tresa and Gethu` starring Udhayanidhi and Amy Jackson and finally the rural comedy Rajini Murugan` with Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthi Suresh.

News has come out that 880 theatres have been blocked for these four films and here is how they are divided between them.

  • Tharai Thappattai` – 250,

  • Kathakali` – 220,

  • Rajini Murugan` – 210

  • Gethu` -200.
