The world of 'Baahubali' has spawned animation series, comics, games. And, a three-book series. Kochi-based author Anand Neelakantan has been penning a prequel titled 'The Rise Of Sivagami', the first in the series of 'Bahubali: Before The Beginning'. The book's cover will be released on Jan 20th.

All the three books in the series are of the genre of prequel. One of the other two books will explore the backstory of Kattappa. The publishers are planning to release the three books in English, which will later be translated into Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.

'Bahubali: Before The Beginning' has been planned to be released when 'Baahubali-The Conclusion' hits the screens in the last week of April. The series will be fictitious on the lines of 'Game of Thrones'.
