The Goat Life : Prabhas releases Prithviraj Sukumarans first look

Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran set the screens ablaze with their previous collaboration, Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, directed by the acclaimed Prashanth Neel. As the film enjoys immense success, Prithviraj gears up for the release of his next major project, The Goat Life or Aadujeevitham, slated to hit theaters on April 10, 2024.

In a noteworthy gesture, Prabhas himself took the initiative to unveil the first look poster of Prithviraj Sukumaran's upcoming film. The Rebel star shared his excitement on his official Instagram handle, stating, “Thrilled to unveil the official first-look poster of Prithviraj Sir’s #TheGoatLife - a journey of the indomitable human spirit.”

Aadujeevitham, or The Goat Life, narrates the story of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant laborer compelled into slavery as a goatherd on a secluded farm in Saudi Arabia. The film faced a prolonged journey to fruition, with its inception dating back to 2009 when the director, Blessy, adapted the novel into a script and cast Prithviraj in the lead role.

Despite challenges in securing funding, Haitian actor and producer Jimmy Jean-Louis, along with Steven Adams, joined Blessy as producers in 2015. Filming commenced in 2018 and extended until 2022, facing delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The crew endured a 70-day stranded period in Jordan, eventually rescued through the Indian government's evacuation program, Vande Bharat Mission.

Aadujeevitham or The Goat Life showcases Prithviraj Sukumaran's commitment to his role, pushing his physical boundaries to portray the malnourished and hunger-stricken Najeeb. The cast includes notable names such as Jimmy Jean-Louis, Amala Paul, Rik Aby, and others in pivotal roles. Sunil KS handled cinematography, while Sreekar Prasad took charge of editing. Adding to the film's allure is the musical genius of AR Rahman, marking his third venture in Malayalam cinema after Yoddha in 1992 and the 2022 Fahadh Faasil starrer Malayankunju. The collaboration of talent and dedication in Aadujeevitham raises anticipation for a cinematic masterpiece that transcends boundaries.
