'The World of Kapata' has been touted to be India's biggest short film. A recipient of the Dada Saheb Phalke Award, its trailer was released today by Chai Bisket, which is going to stream the short film from Aug 18.

TNR plays a peculiar old man who looks a bit demented. In a defunct house, he receives a box full of face masks, which after being hanged to the walls of his house acquire a life of their own. A little girl narrates this fable to her male friend, who is curious to know what the old man is going to do with the sentient masks.

Also featuring Sreya Nadimpalli, Divija TNR (TNR's daughter), and Kshitij Mudgal, the short film has been written and directed by Mallinath Harsha. Produced by Siri Yenigalla, its cinematography is from Abhiraj Nair.

With music composed by Abhinay TJ, the short film is edited by Sasank Vupputuri. Prashanth Chinthakayala and Dindi Praveen Sagar have worked on the art. The dialogues are written by Sameer SK. Production Design is by Vihitha Srivastav, while VFX Supervision is by Basha.
