Theaters in Telugu states to introduce social distancing!

Theaters around the globe had to shut due to the Covid-19 pandemic and people are suggesting them to look at social distancing to function properly after the things come under control until a vaccination or a perfect cure is identified.

Now, Telugu states have been going through bigger crisis due to lockdown and they don't want to risk further loss of people or increase in patients. They are acting slowly and are circumspect about things blowing out of proportion.

But theatre managements have decided that they cannot let these things ruin their business. So, they are preparing themselves to introduce safety precautions and social distancing at the theaters.

They are thinking about getting rid of paper tickets and also, currency exchange at the theaters. At stalls, toilets - they are trying to implement a queue system with social distance marking. Few security staff will be appointed to look after this, it seems.

Stalls might go for online transactions and accept cash only for transactions that are too little to go for card or money transfers, it seems.

The timings between the shows will be extended to one hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, so that the cleaning staff can spray disinfectants after every show. The theatre seating will also have isolation with one seat on either side left free and by introducing online booking at every theater in Hyderabad, they want to achieve this.

For families, they are trying to introduce a special section which will have 2 or 4 seats together and accordingly, they will follow social distancing norms in allotting seats to others in that section as well, it seems.

Finally, theater owners asked government to introduce some subsidies in tax and also help the owners that are badly hurt with some sort of compensation. Until, the Governments declare it is safe to go back to "normalcy", theatre owners plan to assure public that they will be safe at their establishments by implementing many such measures.
