With Maharashtra witnessing the highest caseload surge this week, new restrictions have started to be reimposed in the State. The state government on Friday issued fresh measures that are going to be applicable till March 31.

As part of the new measures, all theatres and auditoriums in the State will operate at 50% capacity. Also, no entry will be allowed without proper wearing of masks.

Besides, all private offices will function at 50% capacity.

The restrictions are meant to ensure social distancing. Once cases start showing a hike in a State, the first ones to be targeted are huge social gatherings. Film industries across the country must be dreading at the prospect of reimposition of seating capacity limits.
