Late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's biopic is titled 'Iron lady'. To be directed by A Priyadarshini, the biopic will have Vara Lakshmi, daughter of senior Kollywood actor Sarathkumar, playing the titular role. She will be seen in Vishal's 'Pandem Kodi-2' in October.

Star director AR Murugadoss has unveiled the film's title poster. The details of cast and crew will be announced soon during a grand launch event. Reportedly, the film will go on the floors next February 24, which is Jayalalitha’s jayanthi. The makers claim that the film will have a grand release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages. 'A story of revolutionary leader' is the caption.

Priyadarshini comes with hands-on experience under Tamil director Mysskin, who is known for a few intelligent movies.
