The Karnataka state government has come up with a Master Plan` to save 20 historical and heritage places. The tourism department Master Plan` has been submitted to India Heritage Cities Network Foundation. This found further improve the positions of such historical places.

Many of the historical and heritage spots are in dilapidated condition. The state government experts do not have wide knowledge to maintain it. That is the key reason to Heritage Cities Network Foundation.

For each and every historical and heritage spots the funds will be provided according to the needs for maintaining it.

The rich cultural and heritage backdrop places like Bidar, Gulbarga, Malakheda, Sannathi, Vijayapura, Badami, Aihole, Pattadakallu, Mysuru, Srirangapattana, Magadi are some of the spots located for this facelift via heritage cities network foundation.
