Trailer Review: Nela Ticket

Semi-literate friends (Priyadarshi, Praveen, Ali and others). A highly-educated girlfriend (debutante Malavika Sharma). Assorted characters (read Prudhvi, Posani, Ali and Brahmanandam, among others) turning quirky at the drop of a hat. Above all, a ruthless antagonist (Jagapathi Babu) who believes in crushing any and everybody who is a nuisance. And the title is 'Nela Ticket'.

Ravi Teja can't ask for more. It's a field day for him. These tropes offer him a chance to be a Venky ('Venky'), a Krishna ('Krishna'), a Seenu ('Dubai Seenu') - all at once. We can expect him to be more 'Kick'-worthy than ever in recent years.

Director Kalyan Krishna surely has infused a greater number of action sequences than what we saw in 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' and 'Rarandoi Veduka Chuddham'. If Naga Chaitanya had an emotional creed in 'RVC', here too, the hero has one: 'Chuttoo janam. Madhyalo manam'. The element of service to the old could have a strong emotional chord.

Expecting nothing less than 'nela ticket' entertainment. It's too big a demand, but let's hope the Mass Maharaja-Kalyan Krishna combo will deliver it.

Music is by Shakthikanth Karthick. Cinematography is by Mukesh G. Art direction is by Brahma Kadali. Producer is Ram Talluri.
