Actress Trisha was last seen in the Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Petta, released last year during Pongal. The movie directed by Karthik Subbaraj had the actress playing Superstar Rajnikanth's wife, and this was her first movie with the Superstar.

The actress has some of her films completed and ready to release, and one of them is Paramapatham Vilaiyattu. Directed by debutant Thirugnanam and produced by 24 Hrs Studios, this movie which has Trisha playing a doctor is expected to be released worldwide on January 31.

Paramapatham Vilaiyattu also stars Nandha, Richard, Baby Manasvi and AL Azhagappan, and an official announcement of the release date will be out soon. Trisha has also signed some big movies like Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, Mohanlal's Ram and Chiranjeevi's next movie.
