Trisha Krishnan has vehemently denounced her co-star from the movie 'Leo,' Mansoor Ali Khan, following his controversial comments about her. In response to Mansoor's recent statement anticipating a bedroom scene with Trisha, despite their lack of on-screen interaction, Trisha expressed her profound displeasure and resolved to sever any professional ties with him.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Trisha condemned Mansoor's comments as not just sexist but also disrespectful, misogynistic, and utterly repulsive. She emphasized her relief for not having shared the screen with someone she deemed "pathetic," and pledged to ensure that such collaborations would never occur throughout her film career. Trisha underscored the broader societal impact of individuals like Mansoor, highlighting their detrimental influence.

The video of Mansoor's media interaction post the success of 'Leo' has quickly gone viral. In it, Mansoor, speaking in Tamil, conveyed his disappointment at not sharing screen space with Trisha and articulated misguided expectations of an intimate scene. He even revealed a history of performing explicit scenes in earlier movies, including disturbing instances such as rape scenes.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, 'Leo' featured Trisha alongside Vijay and Mansoor Ali Khan. The controversy sparked widespread condemnation from celebrities, including director Lokesh, who expressed dismay over Mansoor's remarks, emphasizing the non-negotiable importance of respecting women and fellow professionals in the industry.

Singer Chinmayi Sripaada, known for her advocacy, shared a detailed note on X, shedding light on the longstanding issue of men like Mansoor Ali Khan making derogatory comments without facing consequences. Chinmayi cited other instances involving different individuals, expressing concern about the normalization of such behavior in the industry.

Chinmayi concluded by expressing skepticism about the potential for change, pointing out the continued success of individuals with a history of inappropriate conduct. She stressed the urgent need for the eradication of such behavior for the betterment of the next generation, hoping that they won't be negatively influenced by the prevailing norms in the industry.
