Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Maamannan' gets past the finish line - Movie team lends support to the locals

'Maamannan' is a highly anticipated upcoming film by director Mari Selvaraj. Udhayanidhi Stalin, Keerthy Suresh, Vadivelu and Fahad Faasil are playing the lead roles in the movie. Meanwhile, Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu celebrated his 62nd birthday at the film's shooting spot on September 12.

The latest development is that the makers have wrapped up the entire shooting of 'Maamannan'. The final schedule of the filming took place around the Salem region. While Keerthy Suresh wrapped up her portions in the movie on Vadivelu's birthday itself, the rest of the team completed the shooting today. The crew celebrated both occasions by cutting a cake.

Udhayanidhi has shared photos from the movie's wrap-up party. The images are now going viral on social media. Also, sources say that Udhayanidhi and the 'Maamannan' team helped to renovate a school in the Salem district. The government school building in Jarugumalai, Salem district, is being renovated on behalf of the Udhayanidhi Stalin trust. Udhay donated Rs 13.6 lakh for the same, yesterday at the shooting site.

The actor turned MLA has also given assistance with sports equipment for the youth, groceries for a differently-abled woman to set up a grocery store & students-handmaids-transgender & differently-abled persons to a total of 55 persons living in Jarugumalai, who submitted a request to him during the shooting. The 'Maamannan' team has lent their support to the Jarugumalai people for their cooperation throughout the filming.
