The film directed by Gireesh Damodar named ‘Uncle’ to release on April 27.The megastar Mammootty is playing lead role in the movie. The script of the movie is written by Joy Mathew.

The movie is said to be a family drama and portrays the story of a family.

The socio- political atmosphere of Kerala is of has got important role in this movie. Joy Mathew had revealed initially that the film was originally a small subject but it developed over time.

The makers of the film recently released the trailer of the movie. Actress Karthika Muralidharan is playing lead character in the movie. The main locations of the movie were Ooty and Kozhikode.
