Actor Suriya is also a successful producer, and he has been producing some quality movies in his 2D Entertainment banner. Some of his hit movies include Jyothika's 36 Vayathiniley and Karthi starrer Kadaikutty Singam.

Suriya had last produced Jyothika - Revathy starrer Jackpot and his next production venture is Soorarai Pottru starring himself in lead role and directed by Sudha Kongara. Now Suriya has announced his support for a small film.

Suriya's 2D entertainment has bagged the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the upcoming movie Sillu Karuppatti directed by Halitha Shameem who had earlier directed Poovarasam Peepee. Sillu Karuppatti stars Samuthirakani, Sunainaa, Nivethitha Sathish and Manikandan and has music by Pradeep Kumar.
