At last, Kamal Haasan's 'Uttama Villain' has crossed all hurdles and will be screened at theatres all over Tamil Nadu from today (May 2).

According to sources close to the project, issues between the financiers and the movie's producers were sorted out after marathon talks and an amicable solution was arrived at.

"Following this, everyone concerned is heaving a sigh of relief and 'Uttama Villain' is releasing today," sources added.

Directed by Ramesh Aravind, the film has Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Parvathy, Urvasi, M S Baskar, Nasser and K Vishwanath in key roles. Music is by Ghibran. The movie was originally slated to hit the screens on Friday (May 1).
