The audio of the Telugu version of 'Uttama Villain' was held at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. K.Viswanath, S.P.Balasubramanyam, Kamal Haasan, Gautami, Shruti Haasan, Lingusamy, C.Kalyan, S.V.Krishna Reddy, Manchu Vishnu, Bellamkonda Suresh,

K.Viswanath said, "Working with Kamal Haasan, whether it as an actor or a director is always a pleasure. But I've to say my admiration for K.Balachander. I always had a wish to work as an assistant for K.Balachander atleast for a week. I once expressed my wish to him. But he asked me not to talk anything like that again saying that I am a big director and why should I work under him. Many years back, I was not a director then. I saw the shooting of a film happening in Vijaya studios. I saw how passionate a director and actor should be. They are K.Balachander and Kamal Haasan. I don't know if Kamal Haasan remembers it. I saw the shooting of that film like a fan of both of them. They are perfect example of how a guru and disciple should be. During the shooting of 'Uttama Villain', K.Balachander used to call Ramesh Arvind as director sir and never called him by name. It shows his greatness. Kamal Haasan is a great actor. He is very sensitive and wants everything to be perfect on the sets. I want my relation with him to last for a life time. I bless him a good health".

To that Kamal Haasan said that it is only because of directors like K. Balachander and K.Viswanath, he is so successful.He also said his relation with K.Viswanath can't be expressed in words and it could be only seen in films like 'Swathi Muthyam' and 'Sagara Sangamam'. "I owe a lot to my guru K.Balachander. He is a great director and there can be no better mentor than him", Kamal Haasan said. Kamal dedicated a poem to Balachander.

Pooja Kumar said, "We have made a great film and we enjoyed every minute of shooting for the film. I thank Kamal sir for giving me this opportunity. I can't express how happy I am to have worked with an actor like Kamal Haasan. He contributed a lot to Indian cinema and we should celebrate him as much as we can. I am humbled to have worked with him for two films".

Ramesh Arvind said, "A man came to me in the hotel and asked me if I am the director of Kamal Haasan's new film. I said yes. He asked me the name. When I said Ramesh Aravind, he said what the title of the film is. I said 'Uttama Villain', he said to tell either Uttama or Villain. How can it be Uttama Villain. I asked him to watch the film and he will be convinced. He said if it is like 'happily married'. Yes, it will be understood after watching the film. His commitment to excellence is unbeatable. Everyone tries to one step ahead of their previous film. But tries to be one stair case ahead.Everyone should watch the film for his wonderful performance. The second reason to watch the film is it is our guru K.Balachander's last film. When I was working for my first film, 25 years back, 'Swathi Muthyam' released. Then K.Balachander sir asked me to see how Kamal Haasan acted and K.Viswanath directed the film. Now after 25 years, there are both K.Balachander and K.Viswanath in the film, I directed. It is such a wonderful experience. The film has wonderful artists and technicians. It is a musical entertainer. I love Telugu films. No one understood entertainment like Telugu filmmakers. They have brilliant audiences and they always receive good entertainers. I hope they will love 'Uttama Villain'".

Gautami said, "Though I has been in the industry for such a long time and experienced stardom, I am still a fan of Kamal Haasan. I once asked K.Viswanath if films like 'Swathi Muthyam' and 'Sagara Sangamam' comes again in Telugu. I am confident that 'Uttama Villain' movie will become one such film. The film has all the elements and it will sure entertain the audiences"

Lingusamy said, "Like everyone I am also waiting to watch the film.Ramesh Aravind sir promised me that this film will be in Kamal Haasan's top ten list. I hope it will be. It is like a dream for me to have produced this film. I can't believe I am the producer of Kamal Haasan's film".

Ramajogaiah Sastry said, "I worked for this film in the hysteria that I am working for a Kamal Haasan's film. He encouraged me a lot.I thank him for giving me this opportunity. At first, I worked for a Kannada film. Ramesh Aravind is hero in that film. NOw I am happy that I worked for the movie, he directed. It has been my dream to sing a song in a film and I thank Ghibran for giving me chance to sing a few lines in this movie".

S.P.Balu said, "I never felt that Kamal Haasan and I are different persons. We both are same. Out of very few persons who call me 'Annaya', he is one. I am proud to say that he is my brother. I worked with him for many films and also dubbed for him. He is the one who gave me a chance to turn producer for his film. Many producers wait for his dates, but he called me and said "It's been seven years since I worked with K.Viswanath sir. Why don't we three work together ?" Initially I was apprehensive to turn producer, but it was a golden opportunity. So I turned producer. We convinced K.Viswanath to act in that film for the first time. Then after, he acted in hundreds of films. It is always a pleasure working with Kamal Haasan. There was no actor, is no actor and will be no actor who can do the type of roles, the wonders and films like Kamal Haasan. He is one and only actor and we all should be proud of him. I can never compete with him in anything. May be I am a better singer than him, but as a person, as an actor and in any other thing, I can't come near to him. He is such a great person".
