UTV Motion Pictures has now partnered with director Sundar C for his forthcoming laugh riot, 'Masala Cafe' in association with his wife Khushboo Sundar's production house Avni Cine Max.

Slated to be a comic entertainer, it stars Vimal, 'Mirchi' Shiva, Anjali, Oviya and Santhanam. It was earlier buzzed that Bindhu Madhavi will play second female lead but it looks like Oviya has booked a berth in this film.

Sundar C will be directing this movie apart from handling the screenplay, whereas dialogues are by Badri and camera by UK Senthil. Music will be composed by Ebinizer of 'Kanden' fame. Targeted at the young and family audience, 'Masala Cafe' will be a 2012 summer release. It will commence shooting in Kumbakonam and Chennai from this November.
