The poster has Suriya in a true-blue rural look with the background set in bronze artifacts of the Jallikattu on which the film is based on.

'Vaadivasal' has music score by G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Velraj, editing by Jacky and written by Si Su Chellappa. Shooting is expected to begin once normalcy returns in many actual jallikattu locations all over Tamil Nadu.
