Actor and director Kamal Haasan is currently shooting for Indian 2 directed by Shankar, and the movie is now shooting in Rajahmundry. The movie which also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh has music by Anirudh and is planned as an April 2020 release.

While Indian 2 is produced by Lyca Productions, Kamal Haasan had earlier announced that he is all set to restart the movie Thalaivan Irukkindraan which he had announced before many years, and that this movie will have music by AR Rahman, and shared a photo with him.

Now the latest speculation making rounds is that comedian Vadivelu might be a part of Thalaivan Irukkindraan. Vadivelu was supposed to be a part of Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi which is also produced by Lyca, and as the actor is now not a part of the movie, the production house is in talks to bring Vadivelu in Thalaivan Irukkindraan.
