Vadivelu may or may not be signing any new movie and has also not appeared on screen or off for the past few years. But he is never out of the Tamil people's minds as meme creators make a living out of the wide range of emotions that he has expressed in his three decades career as Tamil cinema's favorite comedian.

Last evening the hashtag #Pray_for_Nesamani started trending number one in India based on the famous contractor character that Vadivelu played in the Vijay-Suriya starrer 'Friends'. In a scene Charle would drop a hammer on Vadivelu causing him to faint and it's with this image that the hashtag was created.

Meme creators are having a field day posting the image of ADMKs C.R. Saraswati giving updates on Jayalalitha's health and replacing the former chief minister with Vadivelu's Naesamani. Soon the Vaigai Puyal has found his way as a meme in every situation including Prime Minister Modi's office and another hashtag #Vadiveluforlife also started trending on top.

Now the foremost wish of all Vadivelu fans is that issues are sorted out between him and Shankar and 'Imsai Arasan 24aam Pulikesi' directed by Chimbu Devan should resume.
