Vadivelu is that rare actor who has the ability to attract a small child to a senior citizen, an uneducated to a highly educated, and breaks all barriers of caste, creed, or economic backgrounds as far as his comedy is concerned. However, for the past few years, the ace comedian is embroiled in controversies especially for walking out of the Shankar produced 'Imsai Arasaan 24 aam Pulikesi'.

There have been talks of him making strong comebacks in films directed by Suraaj, Mysskin, and others but the COVID 19 second wave has indefinitely postponed any such activity, not only in Kollywood but all over India.

Vadivelu in his latest video in his inimitable humorous style has stated that no producer is now ready to make films or actors ready to act in them but god has released a movie called corona and has instructed everyone to stay inside homes and watch. He has added that only God can remove this film from the home theaters and only he knows when he will do that and let people go outside.

Vadivelu has also joked that in one of his films he had explained how one can remain without doing any work and how difficult it is. He laughs that it is now the real situation for everyone around due to coronavirus.

The Vaigai Puyal has requested his fans to stay home and adhere to all the instructions from the government and safeguard themselves and their loved ones in the battle against COVID 19 second wave.
