Breaking! Vairamuthu hospitalized

Legendary lyricist and Tamil scholar Vairamuthu took ill suddenly and has been admitted to the Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. Initial reports coming in from the hospitall premises suggest that the 65 year old has had a bout of food poisoning.

Vairamuthu has had a torrid one week as his industry colleague singer Chinmayi openly accused him of sexually molesting her when she was 18 years old and also tried to misbehave with her on a trip to Switzerland for a concert. On Chinmayi's social media pages a few other women have also levelled similar allegations against him. The National Award winner however denied the allegations and stated that he is ready to face any number of cases in the courts of law.
