Thala Ajith's 'Valimai' went on floors early this month at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad and the first schedule was successfully completed. The team has shifted to Chennai and the next schedule has started at the Rekha Gardens where important sequences are being canned.

There has been an addition to the cast of 'Valimai' as Paval Navageethan has joined the sets to play an important role. The critically acclaimed actor who impressed in Karthi's 'Madras' and Dhanush's 'Vada Chennai' made his debut as director this year and his film 'V1 Murder Case' has hit the screens this past Friday.

'Valimai' is directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor with Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music director and the rest of the cast details including the leading lady will be announced pretty soon.
