After an impressive debut with 'Poda Podi' young and chirpy actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar bowled everyone with her brilliant performance in director Bala's 'Tharai Thappattai' as a bold and loud rural woman who is madly in love with the hero.
Now she is acting in two interesting projects. One is director Arun Vaidhyanathan's 'Nibunan' in which she plays a woman police officer along with action king Arjun and Prasanna. She is also simultaneously acting in the Malayalam flick 'Kasaba' alongside Megastar Mammootty.
After playing a strong character in 'Tharai Thappattai' Varu says she aspires to become an action heroine. Given her performance, capacity, we need not be surprised if she gets more and more action oriented heroine characters after the release of 'Nibunan' .
Will Kollywod get another Vijayashanthi in the form of Varalakshmi.? Well, that's not something impossible.
