On Sunday, Varun Dhawan shared the joyous news of his wife Natasha Dalal's pregnancy, revealing that the couple is expecting their first child. Married on January 24, 2021, the couple's monochrome photo, taken inside their Mumbai home, captures a heartwarming moment. Alongside them is their pet dog Joey, adding to the delightful scene. In the picture, Varun is seen planting a tender kiss on Natasha's baby bump, while she lovingly cradles her belly.

Captioning the photo, Varun wrote, “We are pregnant. Need all your blessings and love #myfamilymystrength.” The announcement has been met with a flood of congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and well-wishers on social media. Karan Johar commented, “Love you both!!!!!!! So so happy for you and the family!!!! welcome to best feeling in the world.” Bhumi Pednekar added, “Congratulations,” and Arjun Kapoor chimed in, “Daddy & Mommy number 1.”

Varun Dhawan, son of David Dhawan and brother of Rohit Shawan, is a popular Bollywood actor, while Natasha is a Mumbai-based fashion designer with her own label. The couple dated for an extended period before tying the knot. Reflecting on their journey, Natasha shared with Hello! India before their wedding, “Varun and I were in school together. We stayed friends until we were in our mid-20s and then, I remember, we started dating just before I moved away. It was around then that, I think, we realized we were more than just good friends.”

Varun was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Bawaal', opposite Janhvi Kapoor, and 'Bhediya'. He also featured in a special song, 'Heart Throb', for 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani'. Varun's upcoming projects include 'Baby John', a teaser for which was recently released. Additionally, he is set to star in the Indian edition of the Russo Brothers' web series, 'Citadel', alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Reports also suggest that Varun has 'Dulhania 3' in the pipeline.
