Thala Ajith has been one of the biggest stars of Indian cinema, and has worldwide fan following. The actor has collaborated with director Siva four times, of which Veeram, Vedhalam and this year's pongal release Viswasam were big hits, making the combo an unstoppable one.

Recently, there was the news that Veeram is all set to be remade in Hindi, with the Bollywood version which has been titled as Land Of Lungi featuring Vicky Kaushal as the lead, replacing Akshay Kumar, and that director Farhad Samjhi will be directing the remake.

Now, Ajith - Siva combo's another big blockbuster Vedhalam is all set to be remade in Hindi as well, and it has been revealed that action hero John Abraham who had starred in the Hindi remake of Kaaka Kaaka as Force, will be playing the lead role in this remake. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the director and the rest of the cast will be announced soon.
