The Tamil remake version of Hindi film Kahani has many proud names associated. The film stars Nayanthara in the lead role who replaces Vidya Balan from Hindi. The Tamil and Telugu versions are directed by Natinal Award winning director Sekhar Kammula .

Recently the audio and trailer launch of the bilingual film was held in a grand event. The music is scored by National award winning composer M.M.Keeravani. With this bilingual project Viacom18 Motion Pictures marks its debut in the Tamil Market and the film is co produced by Endemol India’s film arm Eyedentity Motion Pictures and Moving Pictures.

The Tamil version of the film stars famous actor like Pasupathy and Vaibhav in pivotral roles. By watching the trailer we could guess that Vaibhav acts as a lower rank police officer while Pasupathi is an encounter specialist. The film which is slated for release in a few weeks has a thrilling plot and has been shot at rarely seen real and sometimes chaotic locations in Hyderabad.
