Here is a great news for film buffs to start the new week with zeal. The long awaited flick 'Kutrame Dhandanai' directed by Manikandan of 'Kaaka Muttai' fame has been officially confirmed to hit the screens on the 25th of August 2016.

This is the second directorial of Manikandan after the multiple awards winning blockbuster realistic flick 'Kaaka Muttai'. The film's shoot was completed long back and like the director's debut film. this film has also been screened in many film International and Indian film festivals and has won wide appreciations from film enthusiasts across the world.

Vidharth plays the lead role in this film which has been produced by his brothers Harihara Narayanan, Muthu and Kaleeshwaran under the Tribal Arts banner. The film will be released in theaters by KRK FIlms and SKY Lark Entertainments banner.

Apart from Vidharth, the star cast includes Pooja Devaria of 'Iraivi' fame, Aishwarya Rajesh, Nasser, Rahman, Guru Somasundaram, Pasi Sathya, Marimuthu, Rajasekar and Yogi Babu among others.

The trailer of the film was released last month and it has successfully created a huge buzz for the film as the trailer promises some good performances, excellent camera work, neatly edited shots, curt dialogues and brilliant re-recording by Isaignani Ilaiyaraja.

Director Manikandan has handled the cinematography also. Anu Charan has taken care of Editing this film. The story of 'Kutramey Dhandanai' has been penned by Manikandan along with Anand Annamalai. Art direction is by Balasubramanian and Vijay Adhinathan. Rajakrishnan M.R. has taken care of the Audiography while Sound Design is by Anand Krihsnamoorthy.

Lets wish 'Kutrame Dhandanai' strikes gold and emerges as one of the highly acclaimed super hit flicks of the year.
