Vijay Deverakonda hosts a yummy Indian lunch for Mike Tyson

Earlier this week, a new schedule of 'Liger' was rolled out in the US. The high-stakes schedule has the lead actor Vijay Deverakonda and Mike Tyson shooting together for the movie's breakout scenes. The 'Geetha Govindam' actor has been making social media posts of himself clicking pics with Tyson. Clearly, he, director Puri Jagannadh and others are elated to be working with Tyson.
The news is that Vijay today hosted a yummy Indian luncheon for the former boxing champion with the latter's favourite Indian cuisine. His wife Kiki and the team also participated in it.
A source says that Tyson found the cuisine lip-smacking. He enjoyed having Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Fish Tikka Masala and Goat Biryani. He specially asked for Aloo Gobi, Palak Paneer, Samosa and Kebabs, the source adds.
The 'Arjun Reddy' actor and others played perfect hosts, bowling over Tyson with their hospitality. Tyson will have scenes also with Ananya Panday in the movie.
The international project has the backdrop of Mixed Martial Arts. Produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, 'Liger' also features Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu. The actioner will hit the screens in the first half of next year.
