Ilayathalapathy Vijay's previous film 'Theri' which is one of the blockbuster hits of the year performed phenomenally well in the USA and Canada theatricals. Now the USA distribution rights of the next Vijay starrer 'Bairavaa' scheduled for release during Pongal 2017 has been acquired for a very huge price.

8K Miles Media in association with B&B Entertainment and Tentkotta have acquired rights to release 'Bairavaa' across the United States of America.

Trade sources reveal that this is the highest price paid for a non-Rajini Tamil film.

'Bairavaa' is the landmark 60th film of Vijay and it stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. The film has been directed by Bharathan and produced by Sri Vijaya Productions banner.
