Actor Vijay, who was seen last year in the blockbuster Bigil directed by Atlee has next completed Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie, which was supposed to release last month has been postponed due to Coronavirus pandemic.

After Master, it was said that Vijay is set to join hands with director AR Murugadoss for his 65th movie and that this movie will be a sequel to their 2012 blockbuster action thriller Thuppakki, one of the biggest hits in Vijay's career.

The latest speculation making the rounds is that actress Kajal Aggarwal who played the female lead in Thuppakki might be signed to play the female lead in Thuppakki 2 as well, and an official clarification on these speculations is expected soon.
