Actor Vijay is on a whirlwind tour to many theatres across Tamilnadu where 'Villu' has been released. The film produced by Ayngaran Internationals and directed by Prabhudeva, features Nayantara, Prakashraj, Vadivelu among others in prominent roles.

The exact reason behind Vijay's 'theater watch' is not clear. It is either to assess for himself the real response 'Villu' is receiving amongst general audiences or a publicity campaign to counter the Himalayan promotion 'Padikkathavan' is receiving thanks to Sun Network's resolute marketing strategy.

'Villu' has been receiving all kinds of responses from film goers. Some of them bad and some of them good. Vijay who was in Coimbatore yesterday visiting two theaters said that 'Villu' being declared a flop by a section of the trade is based on falsehood. 'I am not worried about rumors' said Vijay. He even went on to add that 'Villu' is his best film so far.

The actor said, 'I thank my fans for giving 'Villu' a bumper opening across the state. The film has created a record collection in Madurai, Thirunelveli and Coimbatore'. Vijay will be visiting theaters in Madurai, Tiruchi and Salem soon.
